Printing method and electronic device

An electronic device, comprising a memory and a processor, wherein the memory is configured to store a computer program, and the processor is configured to execute the computer program stored in the memory to:

• in response to a print request operation performed on a target application, invoke a first print service to send a print task to a second print service via a virtual channel, wherein the target application is an application on a virtual operating system, the first print service is a print service on the virtual operating system, and the second print service is a print service on a host operating system;
• and
• send a print instruction to a target printer through the second print service based on the print task.

A computer-readable storage medium, storing a computer program, wherein when the computer program is executed by a processor, the processor is caused to:

• in response to a print request operation performed on a target application, invoke a first print service to send a print task to a second print service via a virtual channel, wherein the target application is an application on a virtual operating system, the first print service is a print service on the virtual operating system, and the second print service is a print service on a host operating system;
• and
• send a print instruction to a target printer through the second print service based on the print task.
