Abstract
Systems and methods for intelligent Human Interface Devices (HIDs) interactions. In some embodiments, an HID may include a processor and a memory coupled to the processor, the memory having program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution, cause the HID to: process raw user input via an Artificial Intelligence (AI) model to produce processed user input; and transmit the processed user input to an Information Handling System (IHS) coupled to the HID.
Claims20
A Human Interface Device (HID), comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory coupled to the processor, the memory having program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution, cause the processor to:
- process raw user input via an Artificial Intelligence (AI) model to produce processed user input;
- and
- transmit the processed user input to an Information Handling System (IHS) coupled to the HID.
A method, comprising:
- comparing a behavior of a user, by a Human Interface Device (HID), against at least one of a plurality of biometric profiles;
- and
- executing an Artificial Intelligence (AI) model by the HID, at least in part, in response to a result of the comparison, wherein the AI model is configured to turn raw user input into processed user input prior to transmission to an Information Handling System (IHS).
A hardware memory device having program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution by a processor of an Information Handling System (IHS) coupled to a Human Interface Device (HID), cause the IHS to:
- transmit context information to the HID, wherein the HID is configured to select an Artificial Intelligence (AI) model based, at least in part, upon the context information;
- and
- receive, from the HID, user input processed by the selected AI model.
