Abstract
A system, method, apparatus, etc., for electric vehicle supply equipment management. More specifically, at least an apparatus which may detect and/or predict the location of one of more dynamic power sharing electric vehicle supply equipment(s) such as a charge point, charge plug, etc. This information may be deduced from charge point data operators or generated by independent analysis.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- obtaining an indication of at least a first location of a first electric vehicle and charging need data of the first electric vehicle;
- obtaining an indication of at least a first location of a second electric vehicle and charging need data of the second electric vehicle;
- obtaining an indication of a location of an electric vehicle charge point proximate to the first location of the electric vehicles;
- determining a dynamic power sharing indicator based, at least in part, on concurrent use data for at least the first and second vehicle of the electric vehicle charge point proximate to the first locations of the electric vehicles;
- and
- updating at least one database record with the determined dynamic power sharing indicator.
An apparatus, the apparatus comprising at least one processor and at least one memory storing computer program code, the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the processor, cause the apparatus to at least:
- obtain an indication of at least a first location of a second electric vehicle and charging need data of the second electric vehicle;
- obtain an indication of a location of an electric vehicle charge point proximate to the first location of the electric vehicles;
- determine a dynamic power sharing indicator based, at least in part, on concurrent use data for at least the first and second vehicle of the electric vehicle charge point proximate to the first locations of the electric vehicles;
- and
- update at least one database record with the determined dynamic power sharing indicator.
