Automotive display control device

An automotive display control device comprising:

• a display including a first area and a second area and configured to recognize a touch of a user to the display;
• and
• a transparent knob attached to the second area of the display and configured to recognize a touch of the user,
• wherein the display is further configured to display, in the first area, a function currently being controlled, and display, in the second area, a plurality of manipulation boxes corresponding to the function currently being controlled, and
• wherein the display is further configured to activate one of the plurality of manipulation boxes when the user touches the transparent knob or the second area, to allow the user to control the function with information provided to the activated manipulation box.
