Abstract
An apparatus for volumetric 3d-printing a three-dimensional object by multi-color photopolymerization of a photocurable resin.
Claims15
An apparatus for volumetric 3d-printing a three-dimensional object by multi-color photopolymerization of a photocurable resin, which comprises:
- a working volume for receiving a photocurable resin,
- an irradiation device for irradiating a photocurable resin within the working volume with light of a first wavelength and light of a second wavelength, different from the first wavelength, wherein the light of the first wavelength and the light of the second wavelength intersect in at least one formation zone, wherein the irradiation device comprises:
- at least one first light source, wherein the at least one first light source is configured to generate a light beam of the light of the first wavelength;
- and
- a light sheet generator, wherein the light sheet generator is configured to process a light beam of the light of the first wavelength generated by the at least one first light source to generate at least three individual light sheets, particularly at least four individual light sheets, of the light of the first wavelength.
The apparatus of claim wherein the irradiation device further comprises a light source of the light of the second wavelength and a light projector configured to generate light projections of the light of the second wavelength, wherein the light projections enter the working volume at a specific side of the working volume, particularly the bottom of the working volume or a side orthogonal to a side through which the light of the first wavelength enters the working volume, wherein optionally the light sheet generator is arranged at a side of the working volume opposite the specific side of the working volume, wherein the light sheet generator is particularly arranged above at least one side of the working volume, particularly above a side of the working volume opposite the specific side of the working volume.
