The present invention discloses a device for relaxing muscles by automatically rolling and pressing muscles, a control method and a sliding control method. The device for relaxing muscles comprises an actuating mechanism, a rotating wheel set and a driving mechanism. A first wheel set and a second wheel set are respectively arranged at both ends of the actuating mechanism. The driving mechanism is connected to the first wheel set, the second wheel set and the actuating mechanism, and is used for driving the actuating mechanism to roll automatically. Compared with traditional foam rollers, the present invention provides automated operation, reducing a user's learning effort, physical exertion, and difficulty of use.
