Abstract
A total artificial spinous process (spino)-laminar prosthesis (TASP-LP) including a body having a portion forming a spinous process extending away from the body, a first lamina portion extending from a first side of the body, and a second lamina portion extending from a second side of the body, wherein the first lamina portion and the second lamina portion are disposed on opposite sides of the spinous process.

A spinal lamina implant comprising:
- an implant body configured to be implanted into a spine portion of a patient, the implant body comprising:
- a first lamina portion extending from a first end to a second end, the first lamina portion including at least a first top surface and a first bottom surface opposite the first top surface, and at least one first opening formed proximate to the second end from the first top surface to the first bottom surface, the at least one first opening arranged so as to allow passage of a connection mechanism through the first lamina portion;
- a second lamina portion extending from a third end to a fourth end, the second lamina portion including at least a second top surface and a second bottom surface opposite the top surface, and at least one second opening formed proximate to the fourth end from the second top surface to the second bottom surface, the at least one second opening arranged so as to allow passage of a connection mechanism through the second lamina portion, the first end of the first lamina portion coupled to the third end of the second lamina portion;
- and
- a projection extending from the first lamina portion, the projection defining a first side surface opposite a second side surface, the projection comprising a bend between a first projection end and a second projection end such that the projection extends from the first lamina portion.

A spinal lamina implant comprising:
- an implant body extending from a first end to a second end, the implant body comprising:
- a first portion, a second portion, and a third portion, wherein each of the first portion, the second portion, and the third portion comprise at least a top surface and a bottom surface opposite the top surface, the first portion extending from the first end of the implant body to a beginning of the second portion, the top surface of the first portion being parallel to a first plane, the second portion extending from the beginning of the second portion to a beginning of the third portion, the top surface of the second portion being parallel to a second plane, and the third portion extending from the beginning of the third portion to the second end of the implant body, the top surface of the third portion being parallel to a third plane;
- at least one first opening formed in the first portion proximate to the first end of the implant body, the at least one first opening configured to allow passage of a connection mechanism through the first portion of the implant body;
- at least one second opening formed proximate to the second end from the top surface to the bottom surface of the third portion, the at least one second opening configured to allow passage of a connection mechanism through the implant body;
- and
- a cavity formed in the implant body between the first end and the second end, the cavity positioned between the top surface and the bottom surface of the second portion,
- wherein the first plane is angled relative to the second plane and the third plane, such that the implant body comprises (i) a first bend between the first portion and the second portion, and (ii) a second bend between the second portion and the third portion.

A spinal lamina implant comprising:
- an implant body configured to be implanted into a spine portion of a patient, the implant body comprising:
- a first lamina portion extending from a first end to a second end, the first lamina portion including at least a first top surface and a first bottom surface opposite the first top surface, and at least one first opening formed proximate to the second end from the first top surface to the first bottom surface, the at least one first opening arranged so as to allow passage of a connection mechanism through the first lamina portion;
- and
- a second lamina portion extending from a third end to a fourth end, the second lamina portion including at least a second top surface and a second bottom surface opposite the top surface, and at least one second opening formed proximate to the fourth end from the second top surface to the second bottom surface, the at least one second opening arranged so as to allow passage of a connection mechanism through the second lamina portion, the first end of the first lamina portion coupled to the third end of the second lamina portion,
- wherein the first lamina portion defines a first length orthogonal to a second length defined between the first end and the second end, wherein the second lamina portion defines a third length orthogonal to a fourth length defined between the third end and the fourth end, the first length of the first lamina portion being at least substantially equal to the third length of the second lamina portion, and
- wherein the at least one first opening of the first lamina portion is aligned with the at least one second opening of the second lamina portion along a combined length of the implant body between the second end of the first lamina portion and the fourth end of the second lamina portion.
