Provided are a cardiopulmonary resuscitation device, and a method for operating the cardiopulmonary resuscitation device. The cardiopulmonary resuscitation device may comprise: a cardiopulmonary resuscitation board comprising a head support part, which includes a receiving portion formed concavely in order to support at least a portion of a patient's head, a support, which is disposed at the bottom of the head support pat and adjusts the angle of the patient's head, a backboard for supporting the patient's back, and a belt for securing the patient; a cerebral blood flow measurement device for measuring the real-time cerebral blood flow of the patient according to the angle of the patient's head; and a control unit for controlling to adjust the angle between the support and the backboard within a preset angle range on the basis of the measured cerebral blood flow of the patient.
