Communication method and communication apparatus

A communication apparatus, comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• one or more memories storing programming instructions for execution by the at least one processor, the programming instructions instructing the communication apparatus to perform operations comprising:
• when switching from M frequency domain resources to N frequency domain resources, determining, from the M frequency domain resources and the N frequency domain resources, a frequency domain resource on which a switching period is located, wherein M and N are positive integers and a sum of M and N is greater than 2, and the switching period is a time period for switching from the M frequency domain resources to the N frequency domain resources, wherein the frequency domain resource on which the switching period is located satisfies at least one of the following:
• the frequency domain resource on which the switching period is located is a frequency domain resource that has no highest priority in frequency domain resources other than a first frequency domain resource in the M frequency domain resources and the N frequency domain resources, the frequency domain resource on which the switching period is located is comprised in the M frequency domain resources or the N frequency domain resources, the first frequency domain resource is comprised in both the M frequency domain resources and the N frequency domain resources;
• the frequency domain resource on which the switching period is located is a frequency domain resource that has no highest priority in frequency domain resources belonging to a first specified type in the M frequency domain resources and the N frequency domain resources, and the frequency domain resource on which the switching period is located is comprised in the M frequency domain resources or the N frequency domain resources;
• the frequency domain resource on which the switching period is located is comprised in the M frequency domain resources or the N frequency domain resources, wherein the M frequency domain resources comprise the first frequency domain resource, and the N frequency domain resources comprise the first frequency domain resource;
• or
• the frequency domain resource on which the switching period is located is a frequency domain resource, other than a frequency domain resource on which a physical uplink control channel is located, in the M frequency domain resources or the N frequency domain resources.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing programming instructions for execution by at least one processor, that when executed by the at least one processor, cause a computer to perform operations comprising:

• when switching from M frequency domain resources to N frequency domain resources, determining, from the M frequency domain resources and the N frequency domain resources, a frequency domain resource on which a switching period is located, wherein M and N are positive integers and a sum of M and N is greater than 2, and the switching period is a time period for switching from the M frequency domain resources to the N frequency domain resources, wherein the frequency domain resource on which the switching period is located satisfies at least one of the following:
• the frequency domain resource on which the switching period is located is a frequency domain resource that has no highest priority in frequency domain resources other than a first frequency domain resource in the M frequency domain resources and the N frequency domain resources, the frequency domain resource on which the switching period is located is comprised in the M frequency domain resources or the N frequency domain resources, the first frequency domain resource is comprised in both the M frequency domain resources and the N frequency domain resources;
• the frequency domain resource on which the switching period is located is a frequency domain resource that has no highest priority in frequency domain resources belonging to a first specified type in the M frequency domain resources and the N frequency domain resources, and the frequency domain resource on which the switching period is located is comprised in the M frequency domain resources or the N frequency domain resources;
• the frequency domain resource on which the switching period is located is comprised in the M frequency domain resources or the N frequency domain resources, wherein the M frequency domain resources comprise the first frequency domain resource, and the N frequency domain resources comprise the first frequency domain resource;
• or
• the frequency domain resource on which the switching period is located is a frequency domain resource, other than a frequency domain resource on which a physical uplink control channel is located, in the M frequency domain resources or the N frequency domain resources.
