Electronic device for performing wireless communications, and operation method thereof

An operation method of an electronic device, the operation method comprising:

• performing a scan related to multiple frequencies included in a frequency list related to cell selection;
• configuring priorities of the multiple frequencies, based on a result of the scan;
• updating the priorities of the multiple frequencies in the frequency list, based on at least one feature of the electronic device;
• and
• performing the cell selection, based on the updated priorities of the multiple frequencies.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing computer-executable instructions for operating an electronic device that, when executed by at least one processor of the electronic device, cause the electronic device to:

• perform a scan related to multiple frequencies included in a frequency list related to cell selection;
• configure priorities of the multiple frequencies in the frequency list based on a result of the scan;
• update the priorities of the multiple frequencies based on at least one feature of the electronic device;
• and
• perform the cell selection based on the updated priorities of the multiple frequencies.
