A terminal device of communication, comprising:

• a memory configured to store instructions;
• and
• a processor configured to execute the instructions to:
• receive, from a network device, first information including L1/L2 Triggered Mobility (LTM) candidate configuration;
• and
• determine, whether a set of procedures are performed based on the information, the set of procedures comprising at least one of the following:
• triggering a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) entity of data radio bearers to perform data recovery;
• discarding a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) service data unit;
• re-establishing a radio link control (RLC) entity;
• or
• resetting a medium access control (MAC) entity.

A method of a network device, comprising:

• communicating with a terminal device, and
• transmitting, to the terminal device, first information including L1/L2 Triggered Mobility (LTM) candidate configuration;
• and
• wherein the terminal device determines whether a set of procedures are performed based on the information, the set of procedures comprising at least one of the following:
• triggering a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) entity of data radio bearers to perform data recovery;
• discarding a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) service data unit;
• re-establishing a radio link control (RLC) entity;
• or
• resetting a medium access control (MAC) entity.
