Abstract

A dematerialized information handling system display stand supports a display assembly with vertical adjustments using a single injection molded polyoxymethylene (POM) sliding member inserted in an extruded aluminum riser. A compression spring locks the sliding member in place with torsional force that releases to enable vertical movement. A mount couples to a rear side of the riser with a rail in a channel of the mount engaged in a guide formed in the riser at extrusion of the riser. An information handling system housing couples to the mount. When removed from the riser, the mount assembles into a stand with the housing supported in the channel.

Dependent claims

An information handling system comprising:

a housing;
a processor coupled in the housing and operable to execute instructions that process information;
a memory coupled in the housing and interfaced with the processor, the memory operable to store the information and instructions;
a peripheral display assembly having a display panel interfaced with the processor and operable to present the information as visual images;
a peripheral display stand having a display support coupled to the peripheral display assembly, a riser coupled to the display support and holding the display support in a raised position, a base coupled to the riser;
and
a mount having first and second portions coupled to the housing in a spaced relationship to form a channel that slides onto the riser.
