Automatic cup covering system for intelligent drinking bar

An automatic cup covering system, comprising

• a base,
• a lifting device mounted to the base,
• a cup covering device mounted to the lifting device, and
• a cup holder configured to receive a cup;
• wherein the cup covering device comprises a clamping plate with an upper dragging piece and a lower pressing piece;
• wherein an opening of the upper dragging piece is adjustable between a first size that does not allow a cup lid to fall through the opening of the upper dragging piece and a second size that allows the cup lid to fall through the opening of the upper dragging piece;
• and
• wherein an opening of the lower pressing piece is adjustable, independently from the opening of the upper dragging piece, between a third size that does not allow the cup lid to fall through the opening of the lower pressing piece and a fourth size that allows the cup lid to fall through the opening of the lower pressing piece.
