Transmit beamforming enhancement

An access point (AP) comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• a memory coupled to the at least one processor, the memory storing instructions to cause the at least one processor to:
• determine, a first time interval for performing beamforming on a first link with a station (STA) and a second time interval for performing beamforming on a second link with the STA;
• negotiate, with the STA, a first target wake time (TWT) service period on the first link based on the first time interval;
• negotiate, with the STA, a second TWT service period on the second link based on the second time interval and the first TWT service period;
• perform a first beamforming process on the first link during the first TWT service period;
• and
• perform a second beamforming process on the second link during the second TWT service period.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions stored thereon which, when executed by an access point (AP), cause the AP to:

• determine, a first time interval for performing beamforming on a first link with a station (STA) and a second time interval for performing beamforming on a second link with the STA;
• negotiate, with the STA, a first target wake time (TWT) service period on the first link based on the first time interval;
• negotiate, with the STA, a second TWT service period on the second link based on the second time interval and the first TWT service period;
• perform a first beamforming process on the first link during the first TWT service period;
• and
• perform a second beamforming process on the second link during the second TWT service period.
