Abstract
A braking system for a vehicle has a first electrohydraulic braking system that a first control unit, a first low pressure accumulator and with a first at least one hydraulically operated wheel brake. The braking system also includes a second electrohydraulic braking system with a second at least one hydraulically operated wheel brake, a second control unit and a second low pressure accumulator. The braking system also includes where the first electrohydraulic braking system is fluidly independent from the second electrohydraulic braking system.
Claims11
A braking system for a motor vehicle comprising:
- a first electrohydraulic braking system with a first at least one hydraulically operated wheel brake;
- a first control unit for the first braking system;
- a first low pressure accumulator connected to the first electrohydraulic braking system;
- a second electrohydraulic braking system with a second at least one hydraulically operated wheel brake;
- a second control unit for the second braking system;
- a second low pressure accumulator connected to the second electrohydraulic braking system;
- and
- wherein the first electrohydraulic braking system is fluidly independent from the second electrohydraulic braking system.
