An electronic device, comprising a processor and a memory storing computer instructions executable by the processor to perform operations comprising:

• monitoring a target startup animation that is being played;
• when an exit instruction for the target startup animation is detected, acquiring a playback progress of the target startup animation;
• according to the playback progress of the target startup animation, playing an exit animation;
• and
• when the exit animation is completely played, executing an interruption to display an interface before the target startup animation is played.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing computer instructions executable by a processor to perform operations comprising:

• monitoring a target startup animation that is being played;
• when an exit instruction for the target startup animation is detected, acquiring a playback progress of the target startup animation;
• according to the playback progress of the target startup animation, playing an exit animation;
• and
• when the exit animation is completely played, executing an interruption to display an interface before the target startup animation is played.
