Abstract
A sealing element for a high-pressure connection, including a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is configured to dispose the sealing element in a clearance. A first side of the first portion is disposed so as to be substantially orthogonal to a second side of the second portion. The second portion has a third side, and the second portion is configured to press the third side onto a gap to be sealed when an increased ambient pressure acts on the second side.

A sealing element for a high-pressure connection, comprising:
- a first portion;
- and
- a second portion,
- wherein the first portion is configured to dispose the sealing element in a clearance,
- wherein a first side of the first portion is disposed so as to be substantially orthogonal to a second side of the second portion,
- wherein the second portion has a third side, wherein the second portion is configured to press the third side onto a gap to be sealed when an increased ambient pressure acts on the second side,
- wherein the first side and the second side have an intersection point, and wherein the third side at least in part has a contour having a curvature about the intersection point.
