Abstract
The present invention relates to methods and drug delivery systems for targeted drug delivery, and more particularly for low frequencies ultrasound-triggered drug delivery.
Claims18
A double emulsion structure composed of at least one water based droplet that comprises at least one first biocompatible amphiphilic molecule and at least one water soluble compound, wherein said water based droplet is included in an oily droplet that comprises at least one biocompatible oil and at least one second biocompatible amphiphilic molecule and wherein said structure allows the on-demand release of said water-soluble compound when subjected to low-frequency ultrasound.
