Resin processing apparatus, method of manufacturing resin pellets, and method of processing resin material

A method of manufacturing resin pellets comprising:

• (a) a step of supplying a first resin material into a cylinder of a first extruder;
• (b) after the step (a), a step of supplying a residual resin discharged from the cylinder of the first extruder into a cylinder of a second extruder to which the cylinder of the first extruder is connected;
• and
• (c) after the step (b), a step of cutting a material extruded from the second extruder to form resin pellets,
• wherein a temperature of the cylinder of the first extruder on a downstream side relative to a first kneading section is set to be higher than a thermal decomposition temperature of the first resin material, and
• wherein a temperature of the cylinder of the second extruder on a downstream side relative to a position where the residual resin is supplied is set to be lower than a thermal decomposition temperature of the residual resin.

A method of processing a resin material comprising:

• (a) a step of supplying a first resin material into a cylinder of a first extruder;
• (b) after the step (a), a step of supplying a residual resin discharged from the cylinder of the first extruder into a cylinder of a second extruder to which the cylinder of the first extruder is connected;
• (c) after the step (b), a step of extruding a material containing the residual resin from the second extruder;
• and
• (d) a step of liquefying monomer gas discharged from the first extruder by a heat exchanger,
• wherein a temperature of the cylinder of the first extruder on a downstream side relative to a first kneading section is set to be higher than a thermal decomposition temperature of the first resin material, and
• wherein a temperature of the cylinder of the second extruder on a downstream side relative to a position where the residual resin is supplied is set to be lower than a thermal decomposition temperature of the residual resin.
