Abstract
Provided is a pharmaceutical composition containing pemafibrate, a salt thereof or a solvate thereof. The pharmaceutical composition is provided to contain the following components (A) and (B): (A) pemafibrate, a salt thereof or a solvate thereof; and (B) one or more selected from the group consisting of the following components (B-1) to (B-6): (B-1) a cellulose ether species; (B-2) a starch species; (B-3) a povidone species; (B-4) a silicic acid compound; (B-5) a polyhydric alcohol; and (B-6) an alkyl sulfate ester.

A method for improving content uniformity of pemafibrate, a salt thereof or a solvate thereof in a pharmaceutical composition, the method comprising:
- mixing at least one component (B) selected from the group consisting of the following components (B-1) to (B-6):
- (B-1) a cellulose ether species at a ratio of 3 to 200 parts by mass of cellulose ether species to 1 part by mass of the free form of pemafibrate;
- (B-2) a starch species at a ratio of 5 to 400 parts by mass of the starch species to 1 part by mass of the free form of pemafibrate;
- (B-3) a povidone species at a ratio of 1 to 200 parts by mass of the povidone species to 1 part by mass of the free form of pemafibrate;
- (B-4) a silicic acid compound at a ratio of 1 to 200 parts by mass of the silicic acid compound to 1 part by mass of the free form of pemafibrate;
- (B-5) a polyhydric alcohol at a ratio of 1 to 2,000 parts by mass of polyhydric alcohol to 1 part by mass of the free form of pemafibrate;
- and
- (B-6) an alkyl sulfate ester at a ratio of 1 to 200 parts by mass of alkyl sulfate ester to 1 part by mass of the free form of pemafibrate;
- and
- (A) pemafibrate, a salt thereof or a solvate thereof,
- to obtain a pharmaceutical composition,
- wherein the pharmaceutical composition is a solid dosage form selected from the group consisting of a tablet, a capsule, a granule, a powder, and a pill.
