Power tool and cutting tool

A cutting tool, comprising:

• an electric motor;
• a cutting assembly comprising at least a cutting member for cutting a workpiece;
• a battery mounting portion adaptable to at least one type of battery pack;
• and
• a control circuit configured to control the electric motor to run and comprising a controller configured to acquire a battery parameter of a battery pack among the at least one type of battery pack, adjust a parameter threshold according to the battery parameter, and, in a case where an electric motor parameter of the electric motor exceeds the parameter threshold, control the electric motor to rotate on an accelerated basis;
• wherein the parameter threshold is inversely related to the battery parameter substantially.

A power tool, comprising:

• an electric motor;
• a battery mounting portion adaptable to at least one type of battery pack;
• a data acquisition device configured to receive a user input;
• and
• a control circuit configured to control the electric motor to run and comprising a controller configured to adjust a parameter threshold according to the user input and, in a case where an electric motor parameter of the electric motor exceeds the parameter threshold, control the electric motor to rotate on an accelerated basis.
