Aircraft with passenger cabin

An aircraft comprising:

• fuselage walls;
• an aircraft passenger cabin formed between the fuselage walls;
• a plurality of rows of seating arranged with an aisle through the plurality of rows;
• an emergency exit in the fuselage walls;
• an access path between a first row of the seating and a second row of the seating to allow access to the emergency exit from the aisle;
• and
• a marker comprising a plurality of marker track sections laid end to end to form tracks on a floor of the aisle and the access path, to direct passengers to the emergency exit, and wherein the marker further comprises:
• a photoluminescent material exhibiting persistent luminescence and comprising a pigment arranged to emit blue visible light in response to an excitation by light of wavelength between 250 nm to 500 nm, and wherein the photoluminescent material has an emission spectrum providing light which appears blue to a viewer, with a maximum peak intensity between 400 nm and 510 nm;
• and
• a cover over at least a top surface of the photoluminescent material, wherein the cover is arranged to partially block light of some wavelengths in a UV range whilst being transparent to other wavelengths in the UV range.
