Advanced routing and remote rendered videos layout for meeting side group conversations and voice assistant providers

A method comprising:

• providing a conference session, wherein a plurality of user devices is added to the conference session, and wherein a first user device of the plurality of user devices is associated with a first voice assistant;
• receiving, from a second user device of the plurality of user devices, a first query directed to the first voice assistant;
• based on determining that the second user device is permitted to access the first voice assistant based on permissions data associated with the first voice assistant, routing a first audio stream corresponding to the first query from the second user device to the first voice assistant;
• receiving, from a third user device of the plurality of user devices, a second query directed to the first voice assistant;
• and
• based on determining that the third user device is not permitted to access the first voice assistant based on permissions data associated with the first voice assistant, refraining from routing a second audio stream corresponding to the second query from the third user device to the first voice assistant.

A system comprising:

• control circuitry configured to:
• provide a conference session, wherein a plurality of user devices is added to the conference session, and wherein a first user device of the plurality of user devices is associated with a first voice assistant;
• input/output (I/O) circuitry configured to:
• receive, from a second user device of the plurality of user devices, a first query directed to the first voice assistant;
• wherein the control circuitry is further configured to:
• based on determining that the second user device is permitted to access the first voice assistant based on permissions data associated with the first voice assistant, route a first audio stream corresponding to the first query from the second user device to the first voice assistant;
• where the I/O circuitry is further configured to:
• receive, from a third user device of the plurality of user devices, a second query directed to the first voice assistant;
• and
• wherein the control circuitry is further configured to:
• based on determining that the third user device is not permitted to access the first voice assistant based on permissions data associated with the first voice assistant, refrain from routing a second audio stream corresponding to the second query from the third user device to the first voice assistant.
