Abstract
A manufacturing method for an aluminum alloy member includes preparing an aluminum alloy member composed of an aluminum alloy, and performing shot peening on the aluminum alloy member in a range in which a speed of the shot when contacting the aluminum alloy member is from 1 m/s to 7 m/s to impart residual stress to the aluminum alloy member.
Claims8
A manufacturing method for an aluminum alloy member comprising:
- preparing an aluminum alloy member composed of an aluminum alloy;
- and
- performing shot peening on the aluminum alloy member in a range in which a speed of the shot when contacting the aluminum alloy member is from 1 m/s to 7 m/s to impart residual stress to the aluminum alloy member.
A shot peening apparatus for performing shot peening on an aluminum alloy member composed of an aluminum alloy comprising:
- a hopper configured to store shot;
- a pipe member configured to communicate with the hopper and allow the shot to pass through;
- and
- a support member disposed vertically below a lower end of the pipe member and configured to support the aluminum alloy member.
