Abstract
The present invention relates to methods for classifying a patient's cancer, including determining the proliferation status of the cancer and for classifying the cancer. Such methods also allow for prognosing or predicting clinical outcome of a patient with cancer; for selecting a treatment regime for a patient with cancer; and, to treatments directed to a patient whose cancer has been classified using the methods of the invention. The present invention also provides kits for use in the methods of the invention.
Claims29
A method for classifying a patient's cancer comprising determining the expression level of at least one biomarker selected from:
- KIF23, AURKA, MCM2, CCNA2, PCNA and MCM4, and classifying the cancer based on the expression levels of the biomarker detected.
A method for prognosing or predicting clinical outcome for a patient diagnosed with cancer, comprising determining the expression level of at least one biomarker selected from:
- KIF23, AURKA, MCM2, CCNA2, PCNA and MCM4, and prognosing or predicting the clinical outcome for the cancer patient from these expression values.
