Printing device

A printing method comprising:

• ejecting an ink containing a medium and a fixing polymer onto an object on which a printed record is to be produced;
• expediting evaporation of the medium by heating the object;
• and
• fixing the ink to the object by irradiating the ink on the object with ultraviolet rays to heat the ink and melt the fixing polymer, wherein
• the expediting of evaporation is performed, in a direction of conveyance of the object, not upstream of a position where the ejecting of the ink is performed and downstream of the position where the ejecting of the ink is performed and
• the fixing of the ink is performed, in the direction of conveyance of the object, not upstream of the position where the ejecting of the ink is performed and downstream of a position where the expediting of evaporation is performed.
