Abstract
In a data transmission method, a transmitter device obtains service data; maps the service data to a data frame; and sends the data frame to a receiver device. The data frame includes an overhead area and a payload area, the overhead area includes a first indication field and a second indication field, the first indication field indicates a status of a first timeslot in the payload area, and the second indication field indicates an association relationship between the first timeslot and the service data.

A method comprising:
- obtaining service data;
- mapping the service data to a data frame comprising an overhead area and a payload area, wherein the overhead area comprises a first indication field and a second indication field, wherein the first indication field indicates a status of a first timeslot in the payload area, and wherein the second indication field indicates the service data;
- and
- sending the data frame.

- receiving a data frame comprising an overhead area and a payload area, wherein the overhead area comprises a first indication field and a second indication field, wherein the first indication field indicates a status of a first timeslot in the payload area, and wherein the second indication field indicates service data;
- and
- demapping service data from the data frame based on the first indication field and the second indication field.
A data transmission apparatus comprising:
- at least one memory configured to store instructions;
- and
- at least one processor coupled to the at least one memory and configured to execute the instructions to cause the data transmission apparatus to:
- obtain service data;
- map the service data to a data frame comprising an overhead area and a payload area, wherein the overhead area comprises a first indication field and a second indication field, wherein the first indication field indicates a status of a first timeslot in the payload area, and wherein the second indication field indicates the service data;
- and
- send the data frame.
