- combining the plurality of to-be-compressed data blocks to obtain a plurality of combined to-be-compressed data blocks;

- compressing, based on forward coding, the plurality of combined to-be-compressed data blocks to obtain a compressed data set with combine compression.

A computing device cluster, comprising:
- at least one computing device, comprising:
- a memory configured to store instructions;
- and
- one or more processors coupled to the memory, wherein when executed by the one or more processors, the instructions cause the computing device cluster to:
- obtain a plurality of to-be-compressed data blocks;
- combine the plurality of to-be-compressed data blocks to obtain a plurality of combined to-be-compressed data blocks;
- and
- compress, based on forward coding, the plurality of combined to-be-compressed data blocks to obtain a compressed data set with combine compression.
