Abstract
A hand tool including a first jaw, a first handle fixed to the first jaw, a second jaw, and a second handle pivotally coupled to the second jaw. The hand tool further includes a link member having a first end pivotally coupled to at least one selected from the group of the first jaw and the first handle, and a second end pivotally coupled to the second jaw.

A hand tool comprising:
- a first jaw including a first jaw face;
- a first handle fixed to the first jaw;
- a second jaw comprising:
- a second jaw face;
- and
- a pivot end portion opposite the second jaw face;
- a rear portion positioned between the pivot end portion and the first jaw;
- a second handle pivotally coupled to the second jaw;
- a link member comprising:
- a first end, the first end of the link member pivotally coupled to the first handle;
- a second end, the second end of the link member pivotally coupled to the second jaw;
- and
- a slot configured to receive the rear portion of the second jaw.
