5g virtual internet protocol (vip) audit in the cloud

A method comprising:

• receiving, electronically by an interface, a cluster of software from a remote data center;
• storing, to a storage medium, the cluster of software when the interface receives the cluster of software;
• extracting, from the storage medium by a processor, the cluster of software having an active pod and a standby pod;
• assigning, by the processor when extracting the active pod and the standby pod from the storage medium, a virtual IP address to the active pod and a virtual IP address to the standby pod;
• extracting, from the storage medium by the processor, a master application in the cluster of software;
• and
• executing, by the processor when extracting the master application, the master application to cause the processor to:
• determine whether or not an IP address conflict exists between the virtual IP address of the active pod and the virtual IP address of the standby pod, and
• reload, when the IP address conflict exists, the standby pod.

A non-transitory machine-readable medium including instructions, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to:

• extract, from a storage medium, a cluster having an active pod and a standby pod;
• assign, when extracting the active pod and the standby pod, a virtual IP address to the active pod and a virtual IP address to the standby pod;
• determine whether or not an IP address conflict exists between the virtual IP address of the active pod and the virtual IP address of the standby pod;
• and
• reload the standby pod when the IP address conflict exists.
