Superconductive wire

A superconductive wire comprising:

• a substrate;
• an intermediate layer;
• a superconductive layer;
• and
• a plurality of first precipitates and/or a plurality of second precipitates,
• wherein the substrate has a first main surface,
• the intermediate layer has a second main surface and a third main surface opposite to the second main surface, and is disposed on the substrate in such a manner that the second main surface faces the first main surface,
• the superconductive layer is disposed on the third main surface,
• the constituent material of the superconductive layer is REBa2Cu3Ox (RE is a rare earth element),
• the plurality of first precipitates and the plurality of second precipitates are dispersed in the superconductive layer,
• the constituent material of each of the plurality of first precipitates and the constituent material of each of the plurality of second precipitates are non-superconductive material,
• in a cross-sectional view orthogonal to the third main surface, an aspect ratio of each of the plurality of first precipitates is greater than 1,
• in the cross-sectional view, a longitudinal direction of each of the plurality of first precipitates forms an angle of 20° or less with respect to the third main surface,
• in the cross-sectional view, the plurality of second precipitates are aligned in a row to form a group, and
• in the cross-sectional view, an alignment direction of the plurality of second precipitates in the group forms an angle of 20° or less with respect to the third main surface.
