Demura optimization

A method of display processing, comprising:

• computing a distance between a mura region on a display panel and an edge of a fovea region associated with a frame that is to be displayed on the display panel;
• comparing the computed distance to a threshold;
• computing an adjustment to the fovea region based on the comparison of the computed distance to the threshold;
• and
• outputting an indication of the computed adjustment to the fovea region.

A computer-readable medium storing computer executable code, the computer executable code, when executed by a processor, causes the processor to:

• compute a distance between a mura region on a display panel and an edge of a fovea region associated with a frame that is to be displayed on the display panel;
• compare the computed distance to a threshold;
• compute an adjustment to the fovea region based on the comparison of the computed distance to the threshold;
• and
• output an indication of the computed adjustment to the fovea region.
