Abstract
A composite board includes an inner core defining a top side, a bottom side, a first lateral side, and a second lateral side, the inner core including a polymeric composition. At least one reinforcing tape layer extends at least partially along the first lateral side and the second lateral side of the inner core, and an outer skin layer surrounds the inner core and the at least one reinforcing tape layer.

A composite board comprising:
- an inner core defining a top side, a bottom side, a first lateral side, and a second lateral side, the inner core comprising a polymeric composition;
- at least one reinforcing tape layer extending at least partially along the first lateral side and the second lateral side of the inner core;
- and
- an outer skin layer encapsulating the inner core and the at least one reinforcing tape layer.
