Plmn roaming for private network subscribers

A network device comprising:

• a processor configured to:
• receive, from a visited network component in a wireless network, a roaming authorization request for a visiting user equipment (UE) device with a first network serving as a home network for the UE device, wherein the roaming authorization request includes a unique identifier for the UE device;
• conduct, in response to the roaming authorization request, a UE device lookup;
• and
• send, to the visited network component, a roaming authorization response, wherein the roaming authorization response includes a network pointer to the first network.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising processor-executable instructions for:

• receiving, from a network component in a visited wireless network, a roaming authorization request for a visiting user equipment (UE) device with a first network serving as a home network for the UE device, wherein the roaming authorization request includes a unique identifier for the UE device;
• conducting, in response to the roaming authorization request, a UE device lookup;
• and
• sending, to the network component, a roaming authorization response, wherein the roaming authorization response includes a network pointer to the first network.
