Earbud charging cradle and earbud connection method using same

An earbud connection method that uses a cradle on which at least one earbud is configured to be placed and charged, the earbud connection method comprising:

• sensing placement of the at least one earbud on the cradle;
• executing a connection mode that controls a connection to a device;
• transmitting to the at least one earbud a control signal for connecting the at least one earbud to a matched device corresponding to an input received in the cradle;
• and
• outputting an alert signal indicating a connected state of the at least one earbud, which contains information about the matched device.

An earbud connection system comprising:

• a pair of earbuds configured to provide associated audio by performing wireless communication with a device;
• and
• a charging cradle on which the pair of earbuds are configured to be placed and charged,
• wherein the charging cradle executes a connection mode that controls a connection to the device when a placement of one earbud of the pair of earbuds is sensed, and transmits to the one earbud a control signal for connecting an other earbud to a matched device corresponding to a received input, and
• wherein the other earbud transmits to the matched device a connection signal corresponding to the control signal, determines a connection based on a response signal received from the matched device, transmits to the charging cradle a signal corresponding to the determined connection, and outputs an alert signal indicating a connected state of the other earbud, which contains information about the matched device to which the charging cradle is connected.
