Abstract
A method of processing video data, comprising obtaining a non-adjacent reconstruction sample of a picture of a video, inputting the non-adjacent reconstruction sample of the picture as input for an adaptive loop filter (ALF), and performing a conversion between the video and a bitstream of the video based on the ALF.
Claims20
A method of processing video data, comprising:
- obtaining a non-adjacent reconstruction sample of a current sample in a picture of a video;
- inputting the non-adjacent reconstruction sample of the picture as an input for an adaptive loop filter (ALF) when the ALF is applied to filter the current sample of the picture;
- and
- performing a conversion between the video and a bitstream of the video based on the ALF.
An apparatus for processing video data, comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a non-transitory memory with instructions thereon,
- wherein the instructions upon execution by the processor, cause the processor to:
- obtain a non-adjacent reconstruction sample of a current sample in a picture of a video;
- input the non-adjacent reconstruction sample of the picture as an input for an adaptive loop filter (ALF) when the ALF is applied to filter the current sample of the picture;
- and
- perform a conversion between the video and a bitstream of the video based on the ALF.
A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium storing a bitstream of a video which is generated by a method performed by a video processing apparatus, wherein the method comprises:
- obtaining a non-adjacent reconstruction sample of a current sample in a picture of a video;
- inputting the non-adjacent reconstruction sample of the picture as an input for an adaptive loop filter (ALF) when the ALF is applied to filter the current sample of the picture;
- and
- generating the bitstream of the video based on the ALF.
