Virtual space platform for distribution of messages via multiple channels

A message distribution system comprising:

• a processor of a communication platform that manages the distribution of multiple channels, each of which comprises a data stream;
• and
• a memory device containing programming instructions that are configured to cause the processor to, upon receiving a message:
• analyze the message and determining, based on one or more elements of the message, a message type for the message by:
• determining that the message is of a publish type if the message is a message received from a publisher, and
• determining that the message is of a signal type if the message is an indicator of status of a publisher, a subscriber, or of another message;
• select a quality of service that corresponds to the determined message type;
• assign the message to one or more of the channels;
• and
• transmit the message to one or more subscribers via the one or more assigned channels according to the quality of service.
