Route aggregation for virtual datacenter gateway

A device comprising:

• a first gateway router;
• a second gateway router;
• and
• a network management component,
• wherein the device is configured to:
• receive a set of network addresses of network endpoints in a first virtual datacenter;
• aggregate at least a subset of the network addresses into a first subnet address that encompasses all of the aggregated network addresses;
• provide an aggregated route for the subset of network addresses to the first gateway router;
• and
• provide the first subnet address to the second gateway router that connects the first virtual datacenter to a second virtual datacenter.

A device comprising:

• a gateway router;
• an on-premises gateway connector router;
• and
• a network management component,
• wherein the device is configured to:
• receive a set of network addresses of network endpoints in a virtual datacenter;
• aggregate at least a subset of the network addresses into a first subnet address that encompasses all of the aggregated network addresses;
• provide an aggregated route for the subset of network addresses to the gateway router;
• and
• provide the first subnet address to the on-premises gateway connector router that connects the virtual datacenter to a private datacenter.
