Abstract
Disclosed is a separator for an electrochemical device, a manufacturing method thereof, and an electrochemical device including the same. The separator improves the cohesive force between polymer binders and can prevent a coating layer from detaching from a polymer substrate by including in the coating layer a polymer binder mixture containing a plurality of polymer binders having different glass transition temperatures.
Claims19
A separator for an electrochemical device, the separator comprising:
- a polymer substrate comprising a plurality of pores;
- and
- a coating layer on at least one surface of the polymer substrate, the coating layer comprising a plurality of pores and comprising inorganic particles and a polymer binder mixture,
- wherein the polymer binder mixture comprises three or more polymer binders each having a different glass transition temperature.
