Abstract
The present disclosure has been devised to solve the problems as above and an object of the present disclosure is to provide a device for detecting venting of a pouch cell, which is capable of mechanically detecting the venting of the pouch cell using a change in volume of the pouch cell and immediately cutting off a voltage when the venting occurs.

A device for detecting venting of a pouch cell that comprises a pouch case and an electrode lead protruding to one side of the pouch case, the device comprising:
- a body part;
- a rotating part on one surface of the body part;
- a rotary part configured to rotatably couple to the one surface of the body part by the rotating part and having one side with a connection surface that is configured to contact the electrode lead;
- a support configured to face the pouch case at the other side of the rotary part;
- and
- a cell pressing block coupled to an end of the support and having a pressing surface configured to press an outer surface of the pouch case.
