Publishing and distribution system and method for e-learning content across multiple learning environments

A method for distributing course content, with a processor coupled to at least one memory device storing instructions, wherein the processor executes the instructions to at least perform the operations of:

• receiving a selection of at least one learner experience type for the course content;
• determining a learner environment associated with the at least one learner experience type, wherein the at least one learner experience type comprises at least one of a format, style and an output requirement;
• with a transcompiler, generating at least one course content package having the at least one of a format, style and an output requirement associated with the desired learner experience,
• wherein the at least one course content package comprises accessible-first course content suitable for less-enabled learners and additional layers comprising enhanced course content for more-enabled learners;
• assigning a version identifier to the at least one course content package for version control, and storing the version identifier in the at least one memory device;
• determining a distribution process based on the format, style and output requirement associated with the desired learner experience;
• and automatically accessing the at least one memory device to verify a status of the version identifier, and when the version identifier is current then automatically managing communication channels for simultaneous distribution of the at least one course content package via the distribution process;
• wherein each content distribution process is specific to the format, style and output requirement associated with the desired learner experience;
• and
• wherein the course content is associated with a plurality of distribution processes.

A non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions executable by a processor to carry out the operations comprising:

• receiving a selection of at least one learner experience type for the course content;
• determining a learner environment associated with the at least one learner experience type, wherein the at least one learner experience type comprises at least one of a format, style and an output requirement;
• with a transcompiler, generating at least one course content package having the at least one of a format, style and an output requirement associated with the desired learner experience, wherein the at least one course content package comprises accessible-first course content suitable for less-enabled learners and additional layers comprising enhanced course content for more-enabled learners;
• assigning a version identifier to the at least one course content package for version control, and storing the version identifier in the at least one memory device;
• determining a distribution process based on the format, style and output requirement associated with the desired learner experience;
• and
• automatically accessing the at least one memory device to verify a status of the version identifier, and when the version identifier is current then automatically managing communication channels for simultaneous distribution of the at least one course content package via the distribution process,
• wherein each content distribution process is specific to the format, style and output requirement associated with the desired learner experience;
• and
• wherein the course content is associated with a plurality of distribution processes.
