An information processing apparatus comprising at least one memory and at least one processor which function as:

• a confirmation unit configured to confirm a communication state between the information processing apparatus and an external apparatus via a predetermined relay apparatus;
• and
• a control unit configured to execute control based on a fact that the confirmed communication state is a predetermined state so that a frequency band used in connection between the information processing apparatus and the predetermined relay apparatus is changed from a first frequency band to a second frequency band different from the first frequency band.

A control method of an information processing apparatus, comprising:

• confirming a communication state between the information processing apparatus and an external apparatus via a predetermined relay apparatus;
• and
• executing control based on a fact that the confirmed communication state is a predetermined state so that a frequency band used in connection between the information processing apparatus and the predetermined relay apparatus is changed from a first frequency band to a second frequency band different from the first frequency band.
