Abstract
This application discloses an LP-WUS-based paging method, and the LP-WUS-based paging method includes executing, by UE, LP-WUS monitoring; and executing, by the UE, a first action in a case of detecting a first LP-WUS. The first LP-WUS being used to wake up or page the UE; where the first action includes at least one of the following leaving a low power state; entering an idle state; waking up a main communication module in the UE; or monitoring a paging occasion or receiving a paging message.
Claims20
A low power wake-up signal (LP-WUS)-based paging method, comprising:
- executing, by a user equipment (UE), LP-WUS monitoring;
- and
- executing, by the UE, a first action in a case of detecting a first LP-WUS, the first LP-WUS being used to wake up or page the UE;
- wherein the first action comprises at least one of the following:
- leaving a low power state;
- entering an idle state;
- waking up a main communication module in the UE;
- or
- monitoring a paging occasion or receiving a paging message.
A low power wake-up signal (LP-WUS)-based paging method, comprising:
- sending, by a network-side device, a first LP-WUS to user equipment (UE), the first LP-WUS being used to wake up or page the UE;
- wherein the first LP-WUS is used for the UE to execute a first action, and the first action comprises at least one of the following:
- leaving a low power state;
- entering an idle state;
- waking up a main communication module in the UE;
- or
- monitoring a paging occasion or receiving a paging message.
User equipment (UE), comprising a processor, a memory, and a program or instruction stored in the memory and capable of running on the processor, wherein the program or instruction, when executed by the processor, causes the UE to:
- execute low power wake-up signal (LP-WUS) monitoring;
- and
- execute a first action in a case of detecting a first LP-WUS, the first LP-WUS being used to wake up or page the UE;
- wherein the first action comprises at least one of the following:
- leaving a low power state;
- entering an idle state;
- waking up a main communication module in the UE;
- or
- monitoring a paging occasion or receiving a paging message.
