Communication related to network slices

A method for performing a communication the method performed by an Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF) and comprising:

• receiving, from a User Equipment (UE), a registration request message including requested network slice selection assistance information (NSSAI);
• and
• transmitting a response message to the UE,
• wherein the response message includes partially allowed NSSAI or Single-NSSAI (S-NSSAI) rejected partially in a registration area,
• wherein the response message includes a list of tracking area (TA) where a S-NSSAI in the partially allowed NSSAI is supported, based on that the partially allowed NSSAI is included in the response message, and
• wherein the response message includes a list of TA where a S-NSSAI in the S-NSSAI rejected partially in the registration area is not supported, based on that the S-NSSAI rejected partially is included in the response message.

A method for performing a communication the method performed by a User Equipment (UE), and comprising:

• transmitting a registration request message including requested network slice selection assistance information (NSSAI) to an Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF);
• and
• receiving a response message from the UE,
• wherein the response message includes partially allowed NSSAI or Single-NSSAI (S-NSSAI) rejected partially in a registration area,
• wherein the response message includes a list of tracking area (TA) where a S-NSSAI in the partially allowed NSSAI is supported, based on that the partially allowed NSSAI is included in the response message, and
• wherein the response message includes a list of TA where a S-NSSAI in the S-NSSAI rejected partially in the registration area is not supported, based on that the S-NSSAI rejected partially is included in the response message.

A User Equipment (UE) for performing a communication,

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory that stores instructions and is operably electrically coupled to the at least one processor,
• based on being executed by the at least one processor, perform operations comprising:
• transmitting a registration request message including requested network slice selection assistance information (NSSAI) to an Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF);
• and
• receiving a response message from the UE,
• wherein the response message includes partially allowed NSSAI or Single-NSSAI (S-NSSAI) rejected partially in a registration area,
• wherein the response message includes a list of tracking area (TA) where a S-NSSAI in the partially allowed NSSAI is supported, based on that the partially allowed NSSAI is included in the response message, and
• wherein the response message includes a list of TA where a S-NSSAI in the S-NSSAI rejected partially in the registration area is not supported, based on that the S-NSSAI rejected partially is included in the response message.
