Abstract
A video coding method, apparatus and a system are provided. During decoding of a current block, a TMRL enabled flag is used. Whether it is allowed to encode or decode a TMRL mode syntax element for the current block is determined based on a value of the TMRL enabled flag.
Claims20
A video decoding method, applied to a decoder, the video decoding method comprising:
- determining a value of a template-based multiple reference line intra prediction TMRL enabled flag by decoding;
- and
- during decoding of a current block:
- in a case in which the value of the TMRL enabled flag indicates that a TMRL mode is allowed to be used, allowing to decode a TMRL mode syntax element for the current block;
- or
- in a case in which the value of the TMRL enabled flag indicates that a TMRL mode is not allowed to be used, skipping decoding a TMRL mode syntax element for the current block.
A video decoder, comprising a memory and a processor, wherein the memory is configured to store at least program, and the processor is configured to execute the program stored in the memory to cause the video decoder to perform operations comprising:
- determining a value of a template-based multiple reference line intra prediction TMRL enabled flag by decoding;
- and
- during decoding of a current block:
- in a case in which the value of the TMRL enabled flag indicates that a TMRL mode is allowed to be used, allowing to decode a TMRL mode syntax element for the current block;
- or
- in a case in which the value of the TMRL enabled flag indicates that a TMRL mode is not allowed to be used, skipping decoding a TMRL mode syntax element for the current block.
A video encoding method, applied to an encoder, the video encoding method comprising:
- determining a value of a template-based multiple reference line intra prediction TMRL enabled flag;
- and
- during encoding of a current block:
- in a case in which the value of the TMRL enabled flag indicates that a TMRL mode is allowed to be used, allowing to encode a TMRL mode syntax element for the current block;
- or
- in a case in which the value of the TMRL enabled flag indicates that a TMRL mode is not allowed to be used, skipping encoding a TMRL mode syntax element for the current block.
