Laser element manufacturing device and laser element manufacturing method

A laser element manufacturing method comprising the steps of:

• preparing a semiconductor substrate comprising a base substrate and a plurality of laminate bodies having a bar shape and arranged side by side in a first direction above the base substrate;
• transferring the plurality of laminate bodies having a bar shape to a first tape once and then transferring to a second tape;
• forming a resonator end surface by cleaving each of the plurality of laminate bodies on the second tape to split each of the plurality of laminate bodies into a plurality of laser bodies arranged in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, without dividing the second tape;
• and
• selectively transferring, to a first substrate, some of the plurality of laser bodies obtained from the plurality of laminate bodies.
