Abstract

A secondary battery electrode according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises an electric current collector and active material layers formed on the electric current collector. The active material layers each include a first active material layer formed on the electric current collector, and a second active material layer formed on the electric current collector with the first active material layer interposed therebetween. As compared to the first active material layer, the second active material layer has a lower curvature rate or a larger porosity, or the contained amount of a binder therein is 0.5 times or more. The second active material layer has a plurality of grooves on the surface thereof.

Dependent claims

An electrode for a secondary battery, comprising:

a current collector;
and
an active material layer formed on the current collector, wherein
the active material layer includes:
a first active material layer formed on the current collector;
and
a second active material layer formed above the current collector via the first active material layer,
the second active material layer has at least a lower tortuosity, a higher porosity, or an amount of binder contained of greater than or equal to 0.5 times as compared with the first active material layer, and
on a surface of the second active material layer, a plurality of grooves is formed.
