Automated air traffic control risk management system

A method, comprising:

• receiving status information, from an aircraft remote operation (ARO), for multiple unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) traveling within a geographical location;
• tracking navigation paths of the multiple UAVs based on the status information;
• predicting an unexpected event for a selected UAV of the multiple UAVs based on the tracked navigation paths of the multiple UAVs, and
• performing an action associated with the predicted unexpected event for the selected UAV.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium whose contents, when executed by a computing system, cause the computing system to perform a method, the method comprising:

• receive an indication of an unexpected event for an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) or multiple UAVs within a geographical location;
• identify multiple navigation pods available for the unexpected event;
• and
• select a navigation pod to handle the unexpected event based on one or more real-time parameters associated with the multiple navigation pods.
