An information processing method to be performed by an information processing system connected to a production management system and a first computer via Internet, the information processing method comprising:

• acquiring information related to an error in the production management system;
• and
• displaying, on a display of the first computer,
• a procedure including a plurality of steps to be taken after the error has occurred until a measure for eliminating the error is performed and
• a message corresponding to each of one or more steps up to a current step among the plurality of steps.

A display method to be performed by a computer connected to a production management system and an information processing system via Internet, the display method comprising:

• acquiring, by the computer, display information to be displayed on a display of the computer, from the information processing system;
• and
• displaying, on the display of the computer, an on-screen display based on the display information,
• wherein the on-screen display includes:
• a procedure including a plurality of steps to be taken after an error has occurred until a measure for eliminating the error is performed;
• and
• a message corresponding to each of one or more steps up to a current step among the plurality of steps.
