Abstract
Presented are systems and methods for location verification in non-terrestrial networks (NTNs). A core network may receive assistance information from at least one node of a radio access network (RAN), to perform location verification of a wireless communication device of the RAN.

A method comprising:
- receiving, by a core network, assistance information from at least one node of a radio access network (RAN);
- and
- performing, by the core network, location verification of a wireless communication device of the RAN using the assistance information.
A core network node, comprising:
- at least one processor configured to:
- receive, via a receiver, assistance information from at least one node of a radio access network (RAN);
- and
- perform location verification of a wireless communication device of the RAN using the assistance information.
